All three of these styles are sure to turn heads as you march your way to the polls next month. Whether you choose to vote or not, sporting any one of these dos will have your feeling pretty 'presidential'.
Start with stretched hair. Smooth your hair upward starting from the back giving sort of a mohawk effect. Roll and tuck your hair starting from the nape all the way to your crown and secure the roll with a few bobby pins; leaving the front half of your hair hanging out. With the hair in the front that is left hanging out, tuck it underneath itself either facing forward or off to the side, creating a pompadour. Secure pompadour with pins. Try using Avaluxe Naturals Jasmine & Mimosa Moisture Rich - ButterDream, for a moisturized, shiny look.
Start with hair that has been blown out with a blowdryer. Section hair in half horizontally, from ear to ear. For bottom half, roll and tuck hair upward, starting from the nape and secure with booby pins. Tuck any excess hair into the roll and pin neatly out of sight. For top half, starting with smooth sides, use the same roll and tuck method, but mold hair into desired style and shape with the palms of hands. Secure with pins. You may need a styling pomade to hold hair and flyaways in place.
For this style you can choose to style it with or without mini braids in front. Just smooth hair into a low ponitail. For longer hair: braid ponitail and wrap hair around itself creating a bun/donut. For shorter hair: Use Marley Braiding Hair or Kanekalon Braiding Hair to braid then wrap hair around itself to create a bun/donut. When securing the Marley Braiding Hair or Kanekalon Braiding Hair to your own hair, use an ouchless scrunchie or hair pins.
